Dennis' company

It is exactly one year since Dennis left us for the final phase of his sadhana... What exactly was he to us (I am taking the liberty to use us instead if me) is hard to define... He was a perfect mirror in which Bhagavan's light reflected in such a way that the light and heat was tolerable and acceptable for our fickle minds... His 50 years of life was the life of Bhagavan's ashrams in NY and Nova Scotia... His intense meditation made those shrines and rooms fragrant with devotion so that meditation was possible even for us... The strict routine he followed at the Ashrams, the meditation, those readings, the walks together, the little talks in kitchen with coffee, those reassurances by email and phone calls, 'The Maharshi' newsletter, occasional visits to devotees homes...
...How on earth can we thank him for being such a mentor, friend and a perfect sadhaka to imitate (or at least try)...

We really miss you Dennis... But maybe, you are unfolding another awe-inspiring life as Bhagavan's devotee and disciple - which we all can relate to personally...
